GIRLS HOME AND FARMING LAND IS IN THE PIPE LINE!
Such and answer to prayer...the land behind the boys home has come up for sale and subject to the legal papers and exchange of money, the charity will own this land ASAP!!! It is a very exciting season for the charity, and we continue to trust that all the money we need will come in!!!
We will keep you updated on the progress of this adventure!!
The retreat in Kakamega has been given a local name of the "Koinonia Christian Retreat Centre". Koinonia is a Greek word that means family, in a sense of wider community and love.
The aim of the project is to bring hope to the hopeless, love to the lonely, and peace to their hearts.
The New School At Koinonia Completed!
There are 5 classrooms, offices, reception, toilets and guest rooms with showers. We will only be teaching primary education, and then the children move onto Senior school which we have to pay for. We are very excited about this big development, and I know the boys are too. The boys currently have new school uniform, and are over the moon with the prospect of better facilities to learn in. We already have the funds for the school building, although we need to raise more funds to kit the school out!
